Alcoa First Establishes Aluminum Wheel Factory in Suzhou

(Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, USA, Cleveland, OH, USA, December 13, 2012) Alcoa Corporation (NYSE:AA) today announced that Alcoa Wheel & Transportation Products (AWTP) has opened a new production facility in Suzhou, China At the factory, this marked that the manufacturing, distribution, sales and service network of Alcoa Wheel Products will be fully launched in mainland China. The new plant will bring Alcoa’s leading forged aluminum wheel technology to the Chinese market and lighter, stronger and more fuel-efficient wheels for commercial trucks, trailers and buses. The plant is the first wheel product manufacturing plant that Alcoa invested and built in China following North America, Europe and Japan.
