3. The desiccant such as silica gel should be placed in the balance, and it should be replaced regularly to ensure the air in the balance is dry.

4. The balance should not be moved frequently after being put properly. When it is necessary to move it, it is necessary to remove the balance pan and cross beam components first.

5. The components of the balance should be regularly inspected and kept clean. If there are any dust on the parts, use a soft brush to gently sweep away, taking care not to turn the screws or damage the blades.

6. If the balance is found to be malfunctioning, damaged, or suspicious, it should be immediately stopped, and parts or assembly parts must not be disassembled.

7. Before the weighing, remove the balance shield and place it on the countertop at the right rear of the balance box. View balance usage records, understand the usage of the previous balance, check whether the color change silicone is effective, check the balance is normal, if necessary, use a soft brush to clean, adjust the zero point of the balance, check the weight.

8. Objects that are too cold or too hot cannot be weighed. The temperature of the object to be weighed should be the same as the temperature inside the balance box. Samples should be placed in weighing vessels to prevent contamination of the balance. Take a piece of paper when you take the weighing instrument.

9. The lift shaft should be lightly opened. Pick and place objects, add or subtract weights, and lift the balance beam so as not to damage the agate blade.

10. The load of the balance can't exceed the maximum load of the balance. Before weighing, it must use the scale for weighing.

11, pick and place weights must be clipped with tweezers, is strictly prohibited. The principle of adding and subtracting weights is: "From big to small, half added." The maximum weight should be placed in the center of the weighing plate. When it is added, it is placed in front of it in sequence and the size of the chip size is arranged in front of the small weight. When adding or subtracting weights, it should be gentle. Do not rotate the ring index index disk too quickly to avoid ring code falling or shifting.

12. We must use the specified balance (including weights) to complete all the weighing operations for an experiment. We cannot replace the balance in the middle. During the weighing process, the balance should not be adjusted.

13. Before the accurate reading, all balance doors must be closed. Weighing data should be written on the record in a timely manner, and should not be recorded on paper or other places.

14. After the weighing is completed, lift the balance and take out the objects and weights. Turn the ring code index dial back to zero, cut off the power supply, and finally cover the guard. Register your balance usage.

15. During the use of the balance, it shall be regularly verified by the national legal measurement unit according to regulations and shall hold a certificate of conformity.

Second, the elimination of common faults

1, the adjustment of the optical system (1) when the light bulb is dark. 1 The power supply voltage is insufficient; 2 The voltage required by the lamp does not match the transformer output voltage.

(2) The reason for the long light. The lamp is always bright when the balance light is on or the balance is off. The main reason is that two power contacts are stuck together. The repair method can be used to separate the attached power contact pieces by hand, bend them one by one, and appropriately increase the elasticity and clearance of the contact pieces.

2. The height of the brackets is not high enough. When the balance is closed, the disc is lifted upwards, which sometimes causes the lifting lug to fall off. After the pan is too low and the balance is closed, the pan is still free to swing. Remove the weighing pan, remove the tray holder, and adjust the position of the screw on the rod under the tray to change the tray height to the right.

3, pointer jump When the beam is lifted, such as the distance between the knife and the knife edge of the fulcrum knife, when the balance is opened, there will be a pointer jump, you can relax the screws in front of the left arm of the horizontal bracket, and then use the dedicated Move the hand or push the rod to adjust the height of the small post until the pointer no longer beats.

4. The reason why the balance swing is blocked by swinging is as follows:

(1) The tray cannot be stuck. The solution, you can remove the weighing plate, remove the tray holder, wipe with a dry cloth or dry paper, apply oil, and then install and use.

(2) The inner and outer dampers collide or have slight friction. Solution: 1 Check if the balance is in horizontal state; 2 According to the principles of “Left, Right, and Second”, see if the inner damper is misplaced; 3 Observe the gap around the inner and outer dampers from the top of the balance. If the size is not uniform, remove it. Rotate the inner damper by 180° and try again; 4 If the above adjustment is invalid, you can loosen the screws fixing the outer damper carefully. Observe the top of the balance and use the inner damper as the standard to move the outer damper. Position until the inner and outer dampers no longer rub, tighten the screws.

If the hanging hook fails to lift, remove the cover behind the exponential disk and drip on the oil; if there is a loose screw, tighten the screw; if the index reading does not agree with the weight, loosen the eccentricity.
