CCC certification, also known as China's compulsory product certification, is a compulsory certification measure adopted by the state to protect personal health and safety. There are currently 20 categories and 158 products, including child safety seats that have been included in the certification catalog since last year.
In order to ensure that the products sold by the e-commerce platform are in line with the national certification requirements, and the difficulties in solving the asymmetry of the quality information of the e-commerce channel and the difficulty of identification by consumers, Ali and the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Information Center reached an agreement in December last year, becoming the first to access. The e-commerce platform of the National “Cloud Bridge” certification and accreditation information database provides information services for the quality control and consumer purchase of e-commerce platforms.
With data support, Taobao conducts real-time monitoring of commodities that are included in the national compulsory certification scope: through the pre-quality quality control program “Small Door God”, Taobao requires merchants to provide CCC certification and other information when making new or editing online products. Massive online products are strictly checked, requiring suspected illegal merchants to upload certification qualifications as soon as possible, and the machine and manual review procedures are enabled, and the CCC certification information database of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration is used for comparison and review.
In view of the safety of children's safety seats, since September 1, 2015, China has begun to implement CCC certification for child safety seats. Child safety seats that are not CCC certified may not be manufactured, sold, imported or in other business activities. use. At present, Taobao has accumulated more than 400,000 CCC-certified child safety seats. In addition, when the seller releases the child safety seat, it is also required to provide a CCC certificate, otherwise the product will not be successfully released.

“Yunqiao” is a certification and accreditation information sharing platform opened to the public by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration. Since its official opening at the end of last year, “Yunqiao” has successively connected to domestic mainstream e-commerce platforms such as Alibaba and Jingdong. The e-commerce platform checks the status of CCC merchandise sold online by accessing “Cloud Bridge” to timely discover and clean up the goods in question.
