Abstract : Based on the actual situation, this paper analyzes the description and method comparison of a valve and bearing coding structure for reference.

1 Valve Material Code Structure Introduction Valve material codes use 14-digit equal length digital codes. From left to right, the left and 2 bits represent the new generic class, represented by the code "30". The left 3 and 4 bits represent the one-level code, the left 5, 6 bits represent the secondary code, and the left 7 and 8 bits represent the third level. In the code, the left 9 and 10 digits represent the four-level code, and the last four represent the nominal diameter.
1.1 General valve code description 1 First-level name is the valve, share two codes, with "01";
2 The secondary name is the type of valve. It also uses two-digit code with the code from "01" to "99";
3 Three-level name According to the different classifications of transmission mode, connection mode, structure type, sealing surface material, and valve seat lining material, the two-digit code is still, and the code is from "01" to "99";

The 5th level is called the nominal diameter. The common four-digit code indicates that there are less than four nominal diameters and the front code is supplemented by zero. For example, the DN200 butterfly valve's five-level code is 0200, DN1000's valve code is 1000;
6 When the two types of material models have the same specification, the common material is represented by the nominal diameter, and the special code is added to the nominal diameter. For example, the five-level code 0021 for the butterfly valve D371X-10 DN200 of the “long butterfly valve stem length 1700” is added, and the special five-digit code is incremented.

In the other categories, the classification of goods that can be classified, the four-grade code of the well-classified material is represented by a 2-digit code, and from “01-99”, the four-level codes that cannot be classified in other classes are all “00”. The last four digits are directly represented by serial numbers, from 0001-9999.
