Winning machine search and rescue machine vision technology awards

The 14th China International Industry Fair recently closed in Shanghai. At the expo, Shanghai Maritime University had a total of 10 scientific research achievements. Among them, the “Marine Search and Rescue Machine Vision Technology and Device” researched and developed by Professor Shi Chaojian’s team at the school’s Merchant Shipping Academy won the Expo Innovation Award.

During the expo, a signing ceremony for production, education, and research projects was also held. Shanghai Maritime University, Tianjin Port China Coal Huaneng Coal Terminal Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Minda Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and other four companies respectively signed the "IoT-based Adaptive Humanoid Visual Recognition System" and "Three-Dimensional Imaging Based Vehicle Identification System" projects.
