Recently, China Power Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. and Alstom Grid Group of France signed a cooperation agreement in Beijing to jointly develop an UHV converter transformer. According to the agreement, CEC Equipment will use Shandong Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd., its affiliated company, as its main body, in cooperation with Alstom, to develop ±1100 kV and ±800 kV converter transformers in accordance with the time schedule and technical requirements for the construction of UHV DC projects.
