(2) The peroxide in the oxidant reacts with water and releases oxygen to accelerate combustion. Such as sodium peroxide, potassium peroxide, calcium peroxide, antimony peroxide, etc. Can not use water after the fire, use dry sand, dry powder to save.

(3) Acid-type corrosion products such as sulfuric acid and nitric acid will boil up immediately in case of pressure-congested water flow, causing the acid to splash around. Therefore, after a fire such as fuming sulfuric acid, chlorosulfonic acid, and concentrated nitric acid, it is advisable to use fog water, dry sandy soil, and carbon dioxide fire extinguishing agent to save.

(4) Some chemical hazardous substances can produce toxic or corrosive gases when they encounter water, such as methyl dichlorosilane, trimethylolsilane, zinc phosphide, aluminum phosphide, phosphorus trichloride, and sulfur chloride. After water, it can generate toxic or corrosive gas with hydrogen in water.

(5) A flammable liquid organic oxidizer with a specific gravity of less than 1 and insoluble in water will cause a fire and cannot be saved by water. Because the water will sink under the liquid, it may form splashes and drifts and expand the fire. The fire of the above items should be saved with foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, and 1211.

2. Disable foam fire extinguishing items

Some of the toxic substances in the cyanide, such as sodium cyanide, potassium cyanide and other cyanide, in the foam acid can generate highly toxic hydrogen cyanide gas. Therefore, chemical foam cannot be extinguished and water and sand can be used to save.

3, prohibit the use of carbon dioxide fire extinguishing items

Lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, strontium, magnesium, aluminum powder, etc. in water-fired articles because they are very lively metal, can capture the oxygen in carbon dioxide, and react with the combustion. After this type of item caught fire, only general dry sand soil was used to save it, and it was also possible to save it with 1211.

Flammable solids such as flash powder, magnesium powder, aluminum powder, aluminum, and nickel alloy hydrogenation catalysts cannot be used for extinguishing carbon dioxide.

4, other
