·The National Energy Administration leads various departments to hold consultations to accelerate the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure

In order to implement the leadership instructions of the State Council and promote the better and faster development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, on August 19th, Zheng Jiejie, deputy director of the National Energy Administration, presided over the inter-ministerial meeting on electric vehicle charging infrastructure to analyze the development situation and summarize development experience. Coordinated to solve related problems and deployed the next step.
The meeting pointed out that on the whole, the development of charging infrastructure is good, the lead department actively communicates, the relevant departments actively cooperate, and all key tasks have made substantial progress.
The meeting stressed that this year is the first year of the "13th Five-Year Plan". All relevant parties should accelerate the development of charging infrastructure at the national strategic level and effectively guarantee the realization of the national new energy vehicle promotion target. In the next step, all departments should speed up their work, strengthen communication, adhere to problem-oriented, improve top-level design, and promote early implementation of policies. At the same time, we must pay close attention to key tasks, vigorously promote the construction of residential areas and unit charging piles, focus on optimizing the layout of public charging infrastructure, and strive to improve the efficiency of public charging infrastructure and comprehensively improve the safe operation level of the industry.
