Monitor the peel strength between layers to ensure composite fastness. In this paper, the XLW (EC) intelligent electronic tensile testing machine independently developed by Jinan Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. was used to test the peel strength of the pure milk aseptic brick coil film, and the technical information such as the detection method and instrument test steps were introduced in detail.

1 , the meaning

Liquid milk mainly includes fresh cow (yoghurt) milk, yoghurt, brewing milk and other products. These products contain a lot of fats and proteins and are easily oxidized and degraded. Therefore, packing materials with a certain barrier property are used to package liquid milk to ensure that liquid milk is not Oxygen and other harmful substances in the external environment affect the occurrence of mildew, bulging and other deterioration. Aseptic brick is based on food grade paperboard as a substrate, and it is made of paper, aluminum foil and plastic composite film made of polyethylene, paper, aluminum foil and other materials. After the liquid milk is sterilized at a high temperature, the aseptic bricks are filled and sealed under sterile conditions (ie sterile bricks, liquid milk, and packaging aids are all sterile) in a sterile production environment. Therefore, the use of a high-barrier composite membrane material under aseptic conditions for aseptic bricks can meet the high barrier properties to outside air. The composite fastness between layers of sterile bricks is an important factor affecting the overall barrier properties and physical mechanical strength of aseptic bricks. If the composite fastness between the layers is low and delamination occurs easily, the oxygen permeability of the aseptic brick composite film package material increases, and the barrier property decreases; in addition, the impact resistance of the original composite film is easily caused after layering. Or the puncture-resistance change becomes the impact resistance and puncture resistance of each single-layer film, resulting in the reduction of the physical and mechanical properties of the aseptic brick finishing. Therefore, the composite fastness is an important control index of aseptic brick packaging materials, generally characterized by peel strength. In this paper, combined with the peel strength test standard and relevant testing equipment, the detection principle and test procedure of the composite fastness of aseptic bricks are introduced in detail, providing technical reference for the dairy product industry.

2 , test standards

At present, the domestic standards for the peel strength of composite films for packaging are mainly GB 8808-88 “Test methods for peeling of soft composite plastic materials”.

4.1 Test principle

Predetermined width of the sample is manually peeled off the film layer to be separated, and the two ends of the peeled-off sample are respectively clamped on two clamps. The two clamps move relative to each other, perform T -type peeling, and pass the force on the movable clamp. The value sensor measures the average peel force between the composite layers.

5 , the test process

(1) Using a sampler to cut 5 specimens each of 15 mm in width and 200 mm in length along the longitudinal and transverse directions of the aseptic brick film sample .

(2) Manually pre-strip 50 mm at one end of the specimen along the length .

(3) The two ends of the stripped part of the sample are clamped by the upper and lower clamps of the device, respectively, so that the long axis direction of the sample coincides with the center line of the two clamps.

6 , test results

The peel strength of the pure milk aseptic tile composite film was 3.220 N (vertical) and 3.011 N (horizontal), respectively.
