There are many factors to consider in the selection of imported valves. However, according to the fluid direction of the valve, the flow control of the valve, and the characteristics of the medium, it is an important factor to be considered. 1. Valves for closing and opening media

The flow channel is a straight-through valve. Commonly used are imported butterfly valves , inlet gate valves , and imported ball valves . The flow resistance is small, and valves for cut-off and open media are usually selected. The downward closed valve ( inlet shut-off valve , plunger valve) is less used because of its meandering flow path and higher flow resistance than other valves. Where a higher flow resistance is permitted, such as when the medium being transported is a gas, a downwardly closed valve may be used. When using imported butterfly valve, when the medium to be transported has more impurities, such as conveying raw water or sewage, the horizontal butterfly valve should be used, because the valve shaft is horizontal, the bottom of the flow channel is not easy to accumulate debris and scale, which is beneficial to the protection valve. Plate sealing ring; or choose imported hard sealing butterfly valve of German Lite LIT brand to ensure sealing and wear resistance and service life. When selecting the gate valve, the groove type at the bottom of the valve runner should be selected as much as possible to avoid valve leakage due to the accumulation of debris in the tank.

Second, the valve for controlling flow

Valves that are easy to adjust flow are often selected as control flow, also known as inlet regulators . A down-closed valve (such as a shut-off valve) is suitable for this purpose because its seat size is proportional to the stroke of the closure. Rotary valves (rotary plug valves, butterfly valves, ball valves) and flexing valve body valves (clamping valves, diaphragm valves) can also be used for throttling control, but are usually only available in a limited range of valve sizes. The gate valve is a cross-cut movement of the circular valve seat with a disc-shaped shutter. It can control the flow better only when it is close to the closed position, so it is usually not used for flow control.

Third, the valve for commutating diversion

This valve can have three or more passages depending on the need for a commutation split. Plug valves and ball valves are more suitable for this purpose, so most of the valves used for commutating splits select one of these types of valves. However, in some cases, other types of valves may be used for commutation splitting by simply interconnecting two or more valves. For example, taking the valve of the German LIT LIT as an example, there are mainly imported three-way ball valves , imported three-way plug valves, and three-way ball valves are divided into T -type and L -type.

4. Valves for media with suspended particles

When the medium has suspended particles, it is most suitable to use a valve with a wiping action of the sliding member along the sealing surface. If the closing movement of the closure to the valve seat is vertical, it is possible to hold the particles. Therefore, such valves are only suitable for substantially clean media unless the sealing face material allows for the incorporation of particles. The ball valve and the plug valve have a wiping action on the sealing surface during the opening and closing process, so it is suitable for use in a medium with suspended particles.
